Family Fun

Took some quick shots Thanksgiving day of this family. However, being as everyone had just eaten and were just sitting on the couch none of them were particularly... Well, let's just say I was glad to have a few minutes with them today in the park.

A Belated Walking Wednesday

With the holiday this week things got all mixed up and put on the back burner. I did however think of you on Wednesday, and what's more I was out and about taking random pictures. Not my typical walking Wednesday as I actually drove over to a friend's house. But I liked that because it gave me some new subjects for my obsession.

(It was a thickly foggy morning and I couldn't help buy try and snap a few as a drove.)

Happy Thanksgiving

It was a good day of sleeping in, doing a puzzle, friends, family, and of course an abundance of food. Hope you all enjoyed a great Thanksgiving.

More Holiday Cards

Holiday Session with Sue

Had fun doing a mini holiday card session in the park with Sue - the director for the chorus I'm a part of. She's had MANY years practicing her stage smile and I was so happy to have the opportunity to help capture that for her... Plus she was kind enough not to leave me stranded when I locked me keys in the car.

Had a quick holiday session in a park today. The kids were very cute (even if they were really tired of me and done with the whole "getting our pictures taken" after 15 minutes).

It's fun to photograph random things on my weekly Wednesday walk to the library (unless it's raining... which it could be doing a lot of at any point in the future).

Wedding 11/15/2008

You'd think that a wedding in November in the Pacific Northwest would be doomed to a dreary day, but not so. We got amazingly lucky with the weather this Saturday and were so glad to be able to capture numerous outdoor shots.

Engagement Session 11/13/2008

Last night was an interesting experience. It was an engagement session at night. Admittedly I need more practice with my mounted flash, and this session was just more confirmation of that. So many things to remember, and to learn. But they were really cute, and up for anything, and I'm happy to be trying and learning new things.
