It is interesting to me to see the different results that can come from giving the same "assignment" (i.e. decorate a table with an autumn center piece) to different people.
Autumn is definitely on the move; what's your favorite part of this season?

Day 12 - Bricks
Today I was drawn to the different textures and layouts of what are generally considered to be plain, average, brick walls.
Day 11 - Far Out
A couple days ago I did a zoomed in "detail" post; for this one the "theme" is having the lens as wide open as I can get it.
Can you guess which one of these was taken out the window of my moving car?

Day 10 - Tan Lines
I'm squeaking in at the end of this day, and I only have one picture. So, it's more like my picture of the day as opposed to a "photo challenge", but the subject is the best example I've ever seen of tan lines. Seriously!

Day 9 - Details
I think it may be about time to get a macro lens. I can't get quite as close as I'd like for detail shots with the lenses I have now. I'd love to be able to get in so close to something that it takes some wondering as to what the full picture would be. This will have to do for now.
Day 8 - Blackberries
So, obviously I'm a little behind; yesterday just got away from me. However, I thought I'd share a bit of the wonders of the blackberry season we've been experiencing this year. While we did pick some last year, this year I expanded to cooking and experimenting. The endeavors have included pancakes, smoothies, jam, and cobbler.

Day 7 - My New Glasses
Today's subject is a shameful copout. Instead of finding a "real" theme I'm going to show you my new glasses that I picked up last night. Though, you have to understand this is not without sacrifice on my part as I would MUCH rather be behind the camera than in front of it.
For the last few months or so I've been walking around with these glasses which are missing one of the nose pads (a result of being jumped on by my rather active two-year-old). Which, as you can see, caused them to sit a bit crooked. My new glasses are "bolder" than the old ones and will take some getting used to.
What do you think?
